Ilana Virgile

Ilana Virgile 17, died by suicide on Sunday, April 9th at her home in Lexington, Massachusetts. She is survived by her parents, Helene Mayer and Ken Virgile, and by her three older brothers, Noah, Joshua and Adam. She was dearly loved by her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and by all who were blessed to be her friends. Ilana was a spitfire of a young woman who knew her own mind from a young age and held strong opinions. She was hardworking, accomplished, loving, loyal and had an enormous sense of personal responsibility as well as a mischievous sense of humor. Ilana enjoyed playing lacrosse, loved Universal Studios in Orlando, TV shows Catfish, Ghost Hunters and all kinds of home improvement shows. She adored her family and her friends. The family would love to be contacted for personal visits, or simply stop by the home after 3 p.m. on Friday, April 14th. No flowers, please.
