Ross Harold Supnik

Of Framingham, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on
Wednesday, October 26, 2017 at the age of 92. Born in Cleveland, Ohio to
Herman and Florence (Marks) Supnik. He is survived by his beloved wife
of 61 years, Edna (Golan) Supnik. He was the loving brother of the late
Daniel Supnik, Sylvia Supnik, and June (Supnik) Levitt. Cherished father
of Lori Barth (husband Richard), Terry Ullman (husband Martin), Howard
Supnik (wife Vicki). Adored grandfather of Amy Blum (husband Kevin),
David Barth, Charlotte Ullman, Glen Ullman, Laura Supnik and John
Supnik. Survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law Joyce and Alfred
Derrow. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Case
Institute of Technology (now Case Western Reserve) with a BS degree in
Chemical Engineering and an MBA degree from American International
College. He retired as a stock broker from Salomon Smith Barney at the
age of 76. A World War II army veteran captured in the Battle of the
Bulge; held in POW camp Stalag 9B in Germany and awarded the Purple
Heart. Ross loved classical music, especially opera, skiing, ice skating
(until 83), and pinochle. Longtime member of American Chemical Society,
American Society of Testing Materials, Boston Opera Club, 52 year member
of Temple Beth Sholom, Framingham. Services at Temple Beth Sholom
Framingham on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at 10:00 am. Interment at AAA Sfard
Cemetery, Lynn, MA. Shiva at Shillman House, Framingham, Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday 1-3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to
American Heart Association or Dr. Benjamin Gaynor Fund at Temple Beth Sholom,
Framingham, MA 01701.
